Mobile novels- written on mobiles for mobiles
We were recently discussing the the changes in publishing and only glanced over the way consumers are digesting the material. Leave it to the Japanese to give us a picture of what might be... For the last few years there has been a boom in novels written on standard mobile device... no voice transcribing or qwerty boards hear.... to date there have been well over 1 million works written this way, some of which have occupied Japan's top 10 best seller list. With last year's expansion of the trend to China, one must ask will this catch on in other geographies as well?
