Interesting development! This device reminds of the way Steve Jobs introdcuded iPad. On the slide he put iPhone on the left and Mac on the right with a blank space in the middle, which later he claimed iPad will fit into.
Now if we keep smartphone on the left and iPad on the right with a blank space in the middle... devices with Mirasol display can fit really well in that gap. They have the potential to be great low-end tablets, provided the prices are significantly lower than the current tablets.
