Hmmm seems dangerously close to accidentally tweeting your weekly weigh in. But also why stop here? If we want to automate capturing information about our weight loss etc, why not apply this to gym/fitness club state of the art. One thing I have never been able to do consistently is keep track of the machine settings, weights, reps, time to finish a workout, my heart rate, calories burned etc. Maybe in a few years Cybex, Nautilus or whoever will do it for me.
I agree with Elisse. I feel like the next step for gym equipment is to have some kind of monitor attached to each equipment so that a user can essentially log in and record his/her workout.
