Although RIM might have missed the opportunity, Nokia is looking at new ways to selecting apps for their phones.

In fact, in addition to focusing their efforts on a flagship product, their new strategy is making apps a priority and is (finally?) looking towards 3rd party developers for new ideas. Instead of chasing after the more popular apps, they are trying to look for those that are more localized for the individual user.
