My name is Malcolm Harden, and I'm SMG class of 1993. I've worked extensively in this field for most of the past 18 years.
I'm quite late to this discussion, but permit me to point out that the latest industry thinking on this subject was delivered to the US CIO Council this Winter, having been commissioned from the American Council for Technology / Industry Advisory Council (ACT/IAC). As a fellow of ACT/IAC I have more than a passing interest in the topic.
